Kwara APC Secretary, Mustapha Ishowo Suspended over Diversion of funds

 Breaking news. The Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara State, Alhaji Mustapha Salman Ishowo has been suspended. Members of  APC Executive of Alanamu Central Ward in Ilorin West Local Government  suspended mustapha ishowo from the party for gross misconduct and fraudulent diversion of funds meant for the Ward for his personal use. The suspension was sequel to a vote of no confidence passed on him by the executive of his political Ward, Alanamu Central, on February 12th, 2023 where he was subsequently suspended. This was disclosed in a statement signed by the Alanamu central ward chairman, Alhaji Muyideen Ikolaba, Secretary, Rafiu Onigbegi and other executive members, in which a copy was made available to the media,pressmen,& bloggers  in Ilorin after its emergency meeting. MAN ARRANGE IN COURT FOR MARRYING SECOND WIFE

 A man identified as Edmund Uzoma has been arraigned before a Yaba Magistrates? Court, Lagos State, on charges of bigamy after he married a second wife.  He was arraigned before Magistrate Adeola Olatunbosun on three counts of bigamy and falsification of information on a marriage certificate after marrying one Sophia Yongxian, at a wedding registry. Uzoma was also accused of claiming he's a bachelor even though he's married. The prosecutor, Idowu Osungbure told the court that Uzoma committed the crime in 2019. The offence is punishable under sections 411 and 115 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State and Section 370 of the Criminal Code Act Cap. C. 38 Laws of the Federation, 2004. The charge against him read;  "That you, Edmund Uzoma, of Lekki Road 15, Golden Gate Apartment, Lagos, on or sometime in 2019 in Lagos, in the Lagos Magisterial District, did conspire among yourselves to commit felony, to wit; bigamy, and false statement and declaration."  New Notes: We Are Disappointed In Banks- Emefiele By Abdulganiyu abideen  The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Governor, Godwin Emefiele says he is disappointed with the way things, noting that new naira notes are being used at parties. He said this showed that commercial banks had breached the directives and guidelines given to them by the CBN. Emefiele made the remarks while shedding light on the new currency policy before the House of Representatives Ad-hoc Committee on Tuesday. He said the apex bank had re-enforced its resolve to involve all the security and anti-corruption agencies in the arrest of saboteurs. He dded tha the benefit of the e-economy had started to manifest as inflation was not rising and no stagnation in the economy.
